General
Ezistep is designed to meet Australian building code standards. Test reports can be provided for the Anti-Slip wet resistance which is supplied on all treads. Please email support@ezitimber.com.au for a copy if required.
EziStep Stringers
Our Ezistep stringers are available to suit treads from Step 1 up to Step 16. They are machined with 160mm riser height from the top of one tread to the next at a 35-degree angle. Stringers are routed for secure and longer-lasting construction. Ezistep is DIY made easy!
You will need to measure your deck to ground height and your distance from the deck. Once you have these, you can view our Stair Kit Calculator, found in our Resources Tab, to work out which size you need. If your local store doesn’t stock the size you need, please visit the team at the Customer Special Orders desk at any Bunnings store nationally to place an order.
Our stringers are available in Step 1 to Step 16, so you are sure to find a size that suits your space. However, we do not offer custom sizing.
We do not offer custom sizing; however, with a large range of stringers, treads, pickets and gates, you are sure you find the product that works for you.
Each stringer product includes the left-hand and right-hand sides, plus the required number of stainless-steel fixing screws for installing treads.
EziStep Treads
Timber is a naturally occurring material which can have variations in colour and texture. To ensure full protection from harsh Australian elements, surface deterioration and fungal decay, it is recommended that your timber is painted or stained for exterior, weather-exposed applications. Protecting your timber products will ensure to enhance and maintain the product’s appearance and ensure longevity for years to come against the harsh Australian climate.
Our treads are supplied in 900mm, 1200mm, 1500mm and 1800mm widths, with anti-slip grooves in both Treated Pine and Merbau.
Yes! All EziTimber products are proudly manufactured in Victoria, Australia and are dispatched directly to your local Bunnings Warehouse.
EziStep Stringer Kits
Stringers are the sides of the stair kit and do not include the treads. Our treads are made in a variety of four different widths, so you can customise this for your needs.
Stringer Kits come with the stringers and treads included – this is supplied in Step 2, Step 3 and Step 4 and the treads are 900mm in width. Our Stringer Kits can be ordered via the Customer Special Orders desk in any Bunnings store nationally.
EziTimber stringers are available in Treated Pine MGP10 H3, Structural Pine, and Merbau Hardwood.
EziStep Accessories
Yes, handrail posts are available in both Treated Pine and Merbau which have been machined to fit easily onto the side of the Ezistep Stringers on the left and right-hand sides (standing at the bottom of stringers and looking up).
Speak to your local team member for the options as there are many variations depending on the appearance you are looking to achieve.
To meet Australian Safety Standards, it is recommended to fit a Centre Brace –1000mm or over for Treated Pine OR over 1200mm for Merbau.
